Over 40 years it’s fair to say that we’ve been around the block a few times and that’s only cemented our reputation in N21 and surrounding areas.
We know the local area and we have a history. We know every road, every corner and every detail – we’ve made it our business to know.
Havilands is a results-driven, honest, hardworking and street-savvy Winchmore Hill property specialist.
The Big Picture – We have a tried and tested ethos to selling homes that has served us and our clients well for 40 years, while our marketing strategy continues to evolve using state-of-the-art technology and social media.
The Detail – It’s about taking outstanding pictures and describing them with thought and passion. It’s about accompanying potential buyers on viewings and showing your home on top property websites while engaging buyers through effective email campaigns.
We do what we do and we do it well.

Andre is the proud owner of Havilands. With her tenacity and amazing network of contacts, she gets the job done. Andre takes a hands-on approach to running the business and rises to the challenge. Andre is part of a tight-knit family and loves having everyone together for a meal in her dining room, the best room in the house.
Her idea of heaven is a weekend away at a health farm to enjoy a relaxing massage. Andre enjoys home-cooked food and likes to start her day with fresh fruit or a smoothie.
Lynne was born in Liverpool and is a natural people person. Having owned and managed her own properties for twenty years, she knows first-hand what our landlords require and is careful to be as cost-effective as possible.
Caring and a good listener, Lynne builds relationships with our clients and manages everything from enquiries to viewings. Her ideal home would be an old wooden house set in a forest, overlooking a lake with a large table for friends to sit, eat and drink together (and a small clearing for some dancing!). Lynne loves travelling and wouldn’t say no to owning a boat!
Matt has a real passion for the industry and enjoys working to a high standard. Having grown up in Southgate and living locally, he has great knowledge of the area and local schools. Matt is a confident character with a great sense of humour.
His dedication to the job means he needs time to relax, usually accompanied by a glass of wine! He enjoys spending time with his family and having a meal in his favourite restaurant, The Beautiful South in Enfield. His ideal home would have views overlooking the countryside.
Valentina was born in Southgate and went to school locally at St Martha’s and Ashmole. An adept sales negotiator with more than 20 years professional experience in the Southgate, Oakwood and Cockfosters property markets, Valentina’s energetic, affable and honest approach has given her not only an extensive contact list but a deep understanding and knowledge of client needs.
Valentina is an enthusiastic communicator (in both English and Greek) and a travel lover with her finger on the digital pulse. Her ideal home would be a mock Tudor house with high ceilings, exposed beams and stripped floors. Whether she spends her evenings staying home and watching the latest mafia drama or popping out for mezze at her favourite restaurant – Deserie in Cockfosters – might depend on the parking options – Valentina is not a lover of the reverse gear!
Originally hailing from Northamptonshire, Katie started her career in property with a well-known, expensive fronted, high street estate agent… but left for a job in publishing after becoming disheartened with the way they spoke to vendors and landlords. Their loss was our gain though, as the Havilands tailored and personal approach perfectly fitted her style. A driving force in sales progression and a natural communicator, Katie loves the ever-changing landscape of life in property, she knows how to keep a firm hand on the reigns of the sale process by making sure that all parties are kept informed at every step of the process; Her clear understanding of client needs, positive manner and tenacity means if there’s a deal to be done, she will make it happen.
Given a choice of ideal home, Katie’s would be a period property with a large enough kitchen for indulgent mediterranean-style dinners. Her favourite place to be is ambling the lanes of Palma’s old town and enjoying the local tapas, however when at home in Winchmore Hill she’s more likely to be found on the tennis court or enjoying a post match G&T with fellow ‘Rusty Racketeers’.
Rosalind was also born and bred in Southgate; a former pupil of (the ever popular) Walker school, she gained her ‘masters in level-headed efficiency’ working for Elizabeth Arden before turning her skills to the world of property. A real people person with a finely tuned sense for what people actually want, there is little Roz loves more than getting to know clients and finding them the perfect property… that is unless we’re talking local Italian restaurants (Al Fresco anyone?) or holidaying in Italy – in which case she would definitely be happy to recommend a suitable trattoria or to point you towards to the Piazza Michaelangelo for the best views of Florence!
When not matchmaking people and properties or negotiating sales Roz can often be found swinging her skirts on the dance floor – she is a keen ballroom dancer. That said however, after a busy day in the office sometimes even the lure of the music can’t compete with the lure of the sofa with a refreshing vodka & tonic and peaceful bubble bath.
Alex started his career in video production before setting up his own property services company based in north London. A highly motivated self-starter, and N21 ambassador, with an ability to adeptly juggle multiple remits, Alex’s previous work in both client facing and technical roles makes him a perfect fit for Head of Property Management. He is able to ascertain and understand exactly what our clients need and translate that into efficient and effective solutions. Much to the joy of our landlords and tenants he is also a skilled handyman who knows when, and when not to, call in the trades.
Born and raised in north London, Alex is a seriously seasoned traveller having literally explored every continent. His idea of heaven is a 12 course tasting menu with wine pairing but when that’s not on the cards, he might be found eating at Ai Sushi in Tally Ho, or calamari and octopus at Nissi on Alderman’s Hill or simply enjoying a cold one at his local – The Jolly Farmers. His ideal home would be a detached property with a big enough sitting room to accommodate his video editing studio and still leave him plenty of room to relax and unwind in front of some choice viewing.
