Andre is the proud owner of Havilands. With her tenacity and amazing network of contacts, she gets the job done. Andre takes a hands-on approach to running the business and rises to the challenge. Andre is part of a tight-knit family and loves having everyone together for a meal in her dining room, the best room in the house.
Her idea of heaven is a weekend away at a health farm to enjoy a relaxing massage. Andre enjoys home-cooked food and likes to start her day with fresh fruit or a smoothie.
Lynne was born in Liverpool and is a natural people person. Having owned and managed her own properties for twenty years, she knows first-hand what our landlords require and is careful to be as cost-effective as possible.
Caring and a good listener, Lynne builds relationships with our clients and manages everything from enquiries to viewings. Her ideal home would be an old wooden house set in a forest, overlooking a lake with a large table for friends to sit, eat and drink together (and a small clearing for some dancing!). Lynne loves travelling and wouldn’t say no to owning a boat!
Matt has a real passion for the industry and enjoys working to a high standard. Having grown up in Southgate and living locally, he has great knowledge of the area and local schools. Matt is a confident character with a great sense of humour.
His dedication to the job means he needs time to relax, usually accompanied by a glass of wine! He enjoys spending time with his family and having a meal in his favourite restaurant, Thymari in Hadley Wood. His ideal home would have views overlooking the countryside.
Valentina is a local through and through: she was born in Southgate and went to school locally at St Martha’s and Ashmole. An adept sales negotiator with more than 20 years professional experience in the Southgate, Oakwood and Cockfosters property markets, Valentina’s energetic, affable and honest approach has given her not only an extensive contact list but a deep understanding and knowledge of client needs.
An enthusiastic communicator (in both English and Greek) with her finger on the digital pulse, Valentina is never far from her phone; and when not taking care of business on it, this travel-lover with a passion for all things Italian is likely to be planning her next blue-skied getaway! Her ideal home would be a mock Tudor house with high ceilings, exposed beams and stripped floors – old world elegance in which she could unwind at the end of the day with a large glass of red, in a hot, scented bath; Whether this was followed by staying home and watching the latest mafia drama or popping out for mezze at her favourite restaurant – Deserie in Cockfosters – might depend on the parking options – Valentina is not a lover of the reverse gear!
Originally hailing from Northamptonshire, Katie started her career in property with a well-known, expensive fronted, high street estate agent… but left for a job in publishing after becoming disheartened with the way they spoke to vendors and landlords. Their loss was our gain though, as the Havilands tailored and personal approach perfectly fitted her style. A driving force in sales progression and a natural communicator, Katie loves the ever-changing landscape of life in property, she knows how to keep a steering hand on the reigns of the sale process by making sure that all parties are kept informed at every step of the process; Her clear understanding of client needs, positive manner and tenacity means if there’s a deal to be done, she will make it happen.
Given a choice of ideal home, Katie’s would be a period property with a large enough kitchen for indulgent mediterranean-style dinners with family and friends. When not at work (and free to travel) Katie’s preferred spot-to-be would be ambling the lanes of Palma’s old town and enjoying the local tapas… however when at home in Winchmore Hill she’s more likely to be found on the tennis court making amends for her minor crisp addiction or enjoying a post match G&T with fellow ‘Rusty Racketeers’.
